Tangram

Mankind is wasting things every where and everyday. When people go to the coffee house they can see many people can not use the coffee sugar completely so Tangram want to solve this wasting problem This new package can be divided into two equal parts along the diagonal line so the users can choose to tear the whole sugar packing or they can divide the packing into two parts and just use one of them and take the other one or leave it to others

Dalchini

The childhood memories are always cherished and one gets emotional over the sense of nostalgia and gets connected immediately with the place. These memories have been our moments of joy as you recollect them with family and friends. The designers have used stacks of news paper to represent the monotonous and busy city life where as the subtle use of childhood paper craft gives it a relief and emotional connect; the sense of belonging with the place as you enjoy Indian mother’s recipe at Dalchini. Designers have emphasised on using recycled and natural materials that was an essence of décor.

Omdesign 2016

To create this self-promotion packaging, Omdesign shaped it as an acorn, the seed of its commitment to the future, while combining 2 Portuguese icons: Port Wine and Cork. Produced with wood and cork, free of any oil derivatives, this packaging stores a real acorn, covered with soil, inside its base. The goal is to encourage consumers to reuse it as a container to grow a cork oak. This eco-design marks the launch of the company in 1998, commemorates the 89 awards received in 2016 and challenges users to contribute to the cork oak forest preservation efforts.

Earthwood

Earthwood integrates sustainable construction technology with traditional building design methods. The architectural composition comprises four main principles of sustainability, i.e. the Fertile Ground, the Green Canopy, the Earth Wall and the Wood House. The use of renewable energy sources and natural recyclable materials including structural cross laminated timber and stabilized rammed earth, creates a unique architectural experience by reducing the ecological footprint as well as ensuring an enduring positive impact on communities and on the environment.

Growing Rescued

POC

POC: is a new seegras-based food packaging material which was designed to extend the durability of food, reduce foodwaste and reduce plastic packaging waste. The material is made from sea grass fiber and a binder from the extract of the fiber. Due to the antibacterial properties of the sea grass, a bio-composite can be produced, which is not only easily integrated into the industrial process, but also makes food longer lasting and the packaging completely biodegradable.
