Box Factory

This Zero Energy, low carbon project has operational data that confirms its actual performance. It is an all electric building that relies on onsite solar to meet its energy needs, with heat pumps providing heating and cooling. Careful siting and form work as hard as the systems, with the building oriented to local wind patterns and sun angles. Box Factory integrates climate resilience, innovation, and community impact through thoughtful design. During the 2022 Electra Fire, which burned 4,500 acres in Amador County, the project proved itself resilient and climate ready.

Floating House

The Floating House is located in the central valley of Costa Rica. The project is based on passive design strategies such as site specific positioning and the use of natural resources. Industrial building techniques are combined with locally harvested and regenerative construction materials. Ample roof overhangs protect the house from rainwater and solar impact. The interior rooms merge with their adjacent exterior spaces, creating a unified and harmonic relationship among nature and the built environment. Terraced gardens and balconies provide spectacular views of the surrounding landscape.

Spiral ECO3

The Spiral Christmas Eco3 is the first artificial tree made entirely from 100 percent recyclable materials that is completely recyclable at the same time. Unlike traditional models that combine plastic and steel, this design features a patented spiral frame made from recycled, fire retardant pet plastic. It flat packs to reduce co2 emissions, assembles in under a minute, and includes USB-C powered lights with international plugs. Compact, sustainable, and easy to store, it offers a modern, planet friendly alternative to conventional holiday trees.

Bioplates

Bioplates is a biodegradable and compostable tableware piece developed for professional hospitality. Made from a next-generation biopolymer with mineral reinforcement, it resists up to 140C and over 7000 industrial dishwasher cycles. Its textured surface helps to hide cutlery marks, while the engraved bottom shares an environmental message. Stackable, elegant, lightweight, and carbon negative, Bioplates offers a regenerative alternative to melamine and porcelain in luxury outdoor service, combining design and responsibility.

Regen

Regen introduces a graphic system where living root structures function as both visual language and material substrate. Instead of printing on inert surfaces, communication emerges through controlled biological growth. Each artifact operates simultaneously as a visual message, living organism, and biodegradable outcome. By aligning legibility with ecological cycles, the project reframes graphic production as a regenerative process, proposing an alternative model where communication evolves, transforms, and reintegrates into natural systems rather than generating waste.
