Assembly and disassembly designed for sustainability cause. With an Innovative hinge structure system designed, 70 percent of parts were reduced, no glue or rivet for fixation, no sewing of the inner lining, that makes it easier to be repaired, and downsized 33 percent of freight volume, eventually, extend the suitcase life-cycle. All parts can be purchase individually, for customizing own suitcase, or parts replacement, no returning suitcase to repair center needed, saves time and reduce shipping carbon footprint.

UrbnEarth Planter

The Planter is the first at-home salad growing system that waters itself and learns which plants to grow based on your unique outdoor conditions. Never worry about over or under watering again. Pallet is a micro brewery that was designed with the thought of using sustainable materials in their raw state to achieve contemporary designs. Unconventional use of recycled wooden pallets for the interior decor is the highlight of this restaurant. It portrays the design philosophy of repetition of a module to generate patterns and textures. Although materials used are in raw state it gives international look and attracts clientele across the world.

UP is a high-quality circular kitchen using recycled wood from the exclusive and world-renowned flooring manufacturer Dinesen. UP is inspired by the classic craftsman kitchen. It is aesthetic, but at the same time helping to solve existing global issues. The natural qualities and recycling possibilities of materials have been essential to the design.

Ivc Beyond Flooring

The exhibition booth was designed to reconnect people with the core of IVC: the mother rolls of the base materials. They were upcycled & integrated in the heart of the booth. The rolls are used as an architectural element and can be used again in production after the trade show. The design illustrates the vision that IVC wanted to communicate: to think beyond flooring. The floor of the booth also contained a work of art by Glenn Sestig, demonstrating the possibilities of the collection.

Omdanne

SOLVE design studio presents its capsule collection Omdanne which includes three pieces of clothing that can transform into over 10 styles each, from jumpsuits and dresses, to trousers and jackets. Moreover, all three pieces are 100% biodegradable if buried in the soil. Looking to discourage excessive consumption, the collection makes use of natural, renewable resources, product life-cycle tractability and powerful magnets to create a sustainable design of multi-functional and biodegradable clothing.
